They define and adapt the company’s QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) policy according to targeted standards and communicate it effectively to raise awareness among all employees.
This role is complex, requiring strong conviction and resilience—especially when it comes to halting production or enforcing procedures. The Quality Director must be persuasive and demonstrate leadership, particularly with production staff.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Director
- Propose continuous improvement measures based on the QHSE policy, assess their impact, and drive internal compliance.
- Develop audit plans and implement them with the team.
- Monitor quality indicators.
- Stay up to date with regulatory and technological developments to implement necessary updates.
- Represent the company’s quality framework to senior management, stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and professional organizations.
